It’s that time of year again — the Fort Bend Rainbow Room’s Annual Christmas Project is officially underway. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our Fort Bend community, the 2025 Christmas Project provided gifts to more than 628 children and adults in crisis within the care of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS).
Our project is unique: only children and adults referred by TDFPS caseworkers are eligible, ensuring support reaches those who need it most. Each client is invited to share a personal Christmas wish list with their caseworker — often the only gifts they will receive all year. For many, simply being asked what they want is a rare and meaningful moment.
Our caseworker elves are already gathering wish lists, and we are seeking sponsors who can help bring joy, dignity, and comfort to these children and adults this Christmas season. Adult clients also receive thoughtfully assembled care packages filled with frequently needed essentials such as hygiene items, cleaning supplies, blankets, and slippers.
